PRESIDENT MAMNOON-PM & SPEAKER OF TAJIKISTAN DISCUSS HOW TO STRENGTHEN BILATERAL COOPERATION

Dushanbe-Tajikistan, Jun 20 (Monitoring Desk+APP):President Mamnoon Hussain on Wednesday said Pakistan and Tajikistan enjoy deep relations rooted in common history, culture and faith, and this relationship was strengthening with the passage of time.

He said this relationship could be further strengthened through enhanced cooperation in diverse areas including trade, industry and investment for a win win situation for both and improving the quality of life in the two brotherly countries, he added.

PAK-TAJIK PRESIDENTS AGREE TO REVIVE AIR LINKS,EARLY IMPLEMENTATION OF CASA-1000 & 500 MILLION DOLLAR TRADE

DUSHANBE, June 19 (Monitoring Desk+APP):Pakistan and Tajikistan Tuesday agreed to further strengthen their relations by adopting measures to take bilateral trade to US $ 500 million per annum, immediate revival of air links and early implementation of CASA-1000 (Central Asia South Asia) electricity project.
The two sides reached this agreement during talks between President Mamnoon Hussain and President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan held here at the State Guest House.
 

“Water for Sustainable Development”, President in Tajikistan to attend International Conference

Islamabad: June 18, 2018-At the invitation of President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Emomali Rahmon, President Mamnoon Hussain will pay an official visit to Tajikistan on 19 June 2018. He will also participate in the High-Level International Conference on International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028, to be held on 20 June 2018 in Dushanbe. This will be the President’s first visit to Tajikistan.

Qingdao, China  JUNE 9, 2018  President Mamnoon Hussain, who is on a visit to Qingdao, China, to attend the 18th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of SCO Member States today met H.E. Mr. EmomaliRahmon, President of Tajikistan on the sidelines of the Qingdao Summit.
